Services

Our mission is to bridge gaps between communities by providing skilled sign language interpreters, while educating in the best interest of those we serve.

On-Site Interpreting

Our agency provides on-site interpreting services at your place of business, school, facility, or event. We can provide interpreters 24 hours a day, and we can accommodate emergency requests.

Tele-Interpreting

Tele-interpreting requires an internet connection able to support high definition video. Services have a one hour minimum. Our team will work with clients to determine when tele-interpreting should be utilized. Rates vary from on-site rates.

Rates

We can provide sign language interpreters on weekends and weekdays in Jefferson County, Bullitt County, Shelby County, Oldham County, Floyd County, and Clark County.

Non-local requests may require additional billed travel, mileage, and lodging. Unless otherwise specified, the rates below have no additional travel time or mileage added.

  • $130/first hour

  • $65/each subsequent hour

Confidentiality is not only expected, it’s the law. ASL Interpreting Services follows HIPAA and FERPA compliant policies, and uses secure software to manage and store all confidential information.

Billing

Our billing method is also a simple process. After the completion of the assignment, an invoice will be emailed or mailed to the billing contact. Payment is due within 30 days, and we accept checks and credit card payments.

We believe our rates are well within industry standards, and many clients have received tax deductions for interpreter payments. Your tax professional can provide more detailed information regarding deductions.

Cancellations

Interpreting services must be cancelled during business hours and 24 hours prior to the start of the assignment.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also provide counsel on how to use interpreters, how to set up your event to be more accessible to community members using interpreters, and understanding Deaf culture and related technologies.
